Lovecraftian
Dark, slightly melodic piece. Ftagn.
Ships Sleep Softly
This was inspired by my many walks through Dana Point Harbor in the evening.
Thanks to my dad, a seasoned shipsman, for atmospheric sound consulting.
Housey New Year
House is easy.
Made on new year's day, 2008.
Cid in the Factory
I took this down to work on making the bass not so out of control,
plus some other improvements and necessary omissions.
Now here it is again, a fan favorite (I still have fans, right?)
From Final Fantasy 6, the Magitek Factory remix.
Overslept
For that panicked feeling one gets when they realize
they forgot to set the damn alarm again.
Strum
Inspired by Mum and Aphex Twin.
It's pretty relaxing compared to most of my other work.
No Parachute
This is a really old song that I reworked.
Mostly I put it back up because my brother likes it.
And he pimps out my music pretty constantly, so I owe him.
---I forget when I uploaded from here---
Salomaay
My roommate Dave and I made this one sunny afternoon.
We're openly mocking Mr. Pacino's hilariously over the top acting in the play.
Naturally, I composed the background music.
Blute
Another song in the same style as Confiscate, but much more complex.
The lyrics can be found here.
Click on "lyrics", next to Blute. I mean, if you have to know.
Flute Techno
Kind of a repetitive theme, but a fun song nonetheless. Drive to it.
Caleb's Birthday Song
A special song. For a VERY special man.
The World is a Dying Animal
Well, it is.
I don't know how to describe this one. Dire, yet danceable, with a hint of Eastern influence?
Melodramatic
Ambient, electronic, stuff. Things.
Beepy Stringy
Mixin' up video game sounds with synth strings is fun and educational.
Poopin'
The perfect fanfare for certain occasions.
Quiet Jack
My tribute to Silent Hill's music composer, Akira Yamaoka.
I'm excited about the upcoming movie.
They Heard You
Song for a zombie film.
Lazer Dribblies
Completely electronic with chopped-up samples and beepy sounds.
Home
I don't know where home is.
Confiscate
Ja, zis is my song zat I heff made, you veel listen or you von't, I don't care.
Crush Me
Yeah, I made this. So what?
Charlie
Barber shop quartet of Rhuss. Or would it be Rhi? Eh.
Direction
Mellow house with terrible vocals.
Live Again
Playin' it live.
Scrapple
Scrapple is parts of a pig. On a plate.
Pipkin is Dead
She really isn't.
Laundry
Yes, laundry.
>>>>>>>>>>Music Video<<<<<<<<<<
This was made by the astonishingly talented Juli Jackson.
Here's what she had to say about it:
"On April 5th an animation short of mine screened as
part of a group show in the 2006 Philadelphia Film Festival.
it played at the International House, one of my favorite
film venues in the city. It would have been awesome if I
could have actually made it to the show, but alas
I am 2,795 miles away.
So here you can have a look at a really ugly compressed version
of what once was a beautiful abstract 35mm cameraless animation
called circle X.
I had so much fun creating this piece. all the images were made
by scratching & painting on scraps of film: some found footage,
some just leader or slug.
the music was created by none other than Gaffeizil, and stands
as one of many of our collaborations..."
Circle X
>>>>>>>>>>"Music Videos"<<<<<<<<<<
(They're not really videos, I know. Shoosh.)
By the way, it does loop, and it's very short.
Don't sit there watching it for an hour, please.
I'll feel bad.
Discount shuttle. Doo do doo.
I came up with this while driving home very late one evening.
I saw a van with the words "Discount Shuttle" on the side, and
immediately started singing this song. I then decided it was
actually worth making into a small song with a visual aid.
And voila! It's turning out to be kind of popular. Weird.
Rachelbot
Rachel is an awesome destructive force, known as R.A.C.H.E.L.
Be afraid.
Gaffeizil, that is Rhuss, is in the sensational project called "WILDCAT"!
Hear them on Myspace.com and be AMAZED!!
WILDCAT!!!!!!!!!
